    Bang Hee Lee, violin

    Violinist, Bang Hee Lee was the Grand Prize Winner of the Dong-A competition, Korea's most prestigious musical competition, and she has performed as a soloist with Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and Taiwan Symphony Orchestra. In New York, she has appeared both as a Soloist and Chamber musician at Merkin Concert Hall and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. She also performed on the Kumho Art Concert Series in Seoul Korea. Most recently she performed on the KMF[Korea Music Foundation] Concert Series in Korean Cultural Service in New York.

    As an Orchestra musician, Ms Lee was a member of Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Peoria Symphony and Charleston Symphony and performed as a Concert Mistress of the New Philharmonic of New Jersey. And she also performed in Claremont Music Festival, Bedford Spring festival and Aspen Summer music Festival and she also taught at the Bowdoin Summer music Festival in Main, the International Institute for young musicians Summer Academy in Santa Barbara in California.

    Ms Lee has been on the Faculty of the preparatory Division and Extension Division at Mannes College where she had studied and have been giving annual Recitals with various repertoires since 1988. She holds Post Graduate Diploma from Mannes College studying with Shirley Givens and Master of Art degree from Brooklyn Conservatory as a student of Itzhak Perlman. Additionally, Ms Lee has been extending her musical activities,teaching and performing, to Korea since Summer of 1995.
