    Michael Andriaccio has enjoyed a celebrated international performing and recording career as a member of the Castellani Andriaccio Guitar duo, one of the foremost guitars duos in the world. With his wife and musical partner, Joanne Castellani, they have been hailed by critics as, “one of the greatest guitar duos of the century.” Their numerous cds have garnered critical acclaim with two being named “Best of the Year” by Fanfare Magazine and American Record Guide.

    They have been featured at Carnegie Hall, the Smithsonian Instruction, the JFK Center for the Performing Arts, BBC Radio and Abbey Road Studios in London, the Roman Forum and have recorded with such world renowned orchestras as the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra and many others. As a sought after pedagogue, Michael and Joanne have taught at over one hundred universities and conservatories around the world.

    Michael has also recorded a number of solo albums including the world premier recording of “Goyescana”, concerto for Guitar with the London Symphony Orchestra, by three time Grammy Award Winning composer, Michael Colina.

    Michael is a founder and Director of Artists and Repertoire for Fleur de Son Classics and is Artistic Co director of the JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition presented by WNED/PBS and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. He is a member of the Alice Tully Circle of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
